Meet the Core Tutor
Alana Ramsey trained at RADA (The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art) and has been a professional Actor since 2011 working for all mainstream television channels, in shows such as The Crown, House of the Dragon and Lockerbie with Colin Firth to name a few. Alana has resently been filming for a new BBC Drama. She has performed in multiple West End Theatres during her career and is also a regular on BBC Radio 4. Alana is a writer and her debut play ‘Nanny’ received critical acclaim at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre earlier this year.
Alana has been an acting teacher for as long as she has been acting, having been taught to run acting workshops at RADA. She regularly teaches at RADA's Saturday school, planning, delivering and adapting the lessons. Teaching acting is a huge passion of Alana's; not only can she help unlock people's creative potential as an actor but also their personal ambitions in every day life, which is brilliantly rewarding.
