Meet the Core Tutor
Dominique trained with The Actor’s Company, after studying English and Drama at Bretton Hall, before going on to specialise in The Meisner Technique with Scott Williams at The Impulse Company. Having worked as an actor for some years, she side-stepped into directing and now focuses on directing new works, offering dramaturgy alongside.
Recent directing credits include: Award-winning Quintessence by Emily Carding, Room & Havisham by Heather Alexander, The Incident at Marshfell by Michael Punter, America Ground, The Musical by John Knowles & Bob Tipler, A Necessary Woman & SOE by Deborah Clair.
She has worked for over 20 years as a Drama Facilitator for all ages with Questors Youth Theatre, Old Vic New Voices, Kingston College, University of West London and the London College of Music. In more recent years she has been coaching privately and running Hastings Meisner.
She is delighted to teach for The Actor’s Lounge, not least because of the range of students so keen to explore the craft of acting and discover themselves through that process, engaging with what it means to be human. Dominique cares deeply about creating a supportive environment in which all can flourish.
