👏 TAL was extremely proud to hear how some of our students were recently involved in a short film starring BAFTA Winning actress and Golden Globe nominee, Cathy Tyson 👏 .. Especially after receiving this feedback from the director: “I must say how pleased I was with all the cast… all of which have given their best to their roles, so yes, The Actor’s Lounge alumni - top notch.” Swallow is a powerful and hard hitting piece that deals with the current state of education, written and directed by the very talented Kat Philippou Curtis. 🌟 The Actor’s Lounge - Theatre Trip This Saturday, TAL students from all over the UK gathered to watch our wonderful patron, Sir Mark Rylance, in ‘Juno and the Paycock’ at the Gielgud Theatre in London. Observation is a key component to going deeper into your craft, and the TAL community was in for a treat with this production. It was so lovely to have students and teachers from our different locations meet each other and further strengthen our ever-growing community at The Actor’s Lounge ❤️

🌟 This weekend The Actor’s Lounge was honoured to host Abi, the founder of AKP Management Agency, for an intensive workshop and open casting for our TAL Canterbury students 🌟 It is very rare in the industry for actors to have an open space to ask questions directly with an agency about the ins and outs of the industry from their perspective. Our students left with a ton of new knowledge and experience. It is beautiful to see how aligned AKP and The Actor’s Lounge are with our principals and beliefs. It was also a sheer delight to see how supportive and encouraging all the TAL students were for each other on the day! We really do all have each others backs 🥰 We look forward to more collaborations for days like this with AKP in the future across all our locations.
